I was born and raised on the plains of North and South Dakota. I grew up devouring the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder and spent most of my childhood dreaming I was her in a past life.

I could spend an entire day perusing for books in the local library or a bookstore. It’s one of my favorite places to be.

If I am not hunting for treasure at a thrift shop or antique store, then I might actually be hunting in the woods with my fiancé. He is my best friend.

You can usually find me at home cooking from scratch, reading, dreaming about a farm, working out or helping prepare game meat. Our dog is probably snoring nearby. It’s pure bliss.

Currently, I live in Tennessee, but I am quite simply and always will be a prairie girl at heart. The dream is to one day have a second home – back home.
